First of all, someone told me their sister did crossfit and she had an eight-pack and bicepts bigger than her brother's. When I heard that, I started looking for the local gym. I'd been lifting the same amount of weight in the same routine for the past 3 months. It was clearly time to raise the bar.
Well, I was looking all around for the closest crossfit gym. I walked in one sunday and Dan just started talking…or was that selling? He went through the whole story and spiel. At the very end he said, "so do you have a boyfriend or fiance or anything?" and I told him no. Next he insinuated that he fixed people up – and that totally sold me! I walked away starry eyed imagining my own stronger body…and muscular boyfriend! Ha, isn't that funny!
Anyway, I stayed because it's so much freakin' fun to come workout every day. I can't believe I spent hours and hours in a normal gym without the community that we have at crossfit Bellevue.
